The Citizens' Campaign presents the followup to the June 9th Jersey Call to Service Summit- our Next Steps Conference- for everyone (1,300 of you) who Answered the Call to Service at the Summit. As you know, the Citizens' Campaign has been calling regular Jersey citizens to service, and empowering them with the tools and training to participate constructively in the leadership of our government and political parties.

Description:
We offer this event to help you in your progress participating as a "Citizen Leader" in your community. At the summit you attended a leadership panel and learned about powerful volunteer opportunitites to participate as a leader in your community, as an appointed office holder, a citizen legislator, as a political party committee person or as a citizen journalist.

Have you decided how you will participate? Will you apply for a board or commission positions and help develop public policy in your town? Will you present a cost savings proposal to your town council to help reduce property taxes? Will you run for a political party committee seat and get active in your local political party? Will you start to write about politics and government so your community is informed and engaged in what is happening?
